UDAYAN VIDYALAYA
UDAYAN VIDYALAYA started as a small school for the children of Udayan without a name way back in 1970. It was when we moved to Udayangram and raised a one storey building which had previously been a godown, that it was then finally given a name.
Whilst for decades Udayan Vidyalaya was a school with two mediums of teaching - Hindi and Bengali, recent paucity of funds saw the school revert to one medium - Bengali, as it meant having two sets of teachers which is resource intensive.
There are 6 teachers teaching classes KG to Class IV with subjects including Bengali Language, English, Mathematics, History, Geography and other special interest subjects.
